Lucky Jack Film Trailer

Producer Steve Edwards interviewed on onnj

New Jersey Hall of Fame at American Dream

"Lucky Jack," the film I executive produced, will be showcased at the opening Gala of the Jersey Shore Film Festival on Sunday, June 22. See the film trailer to the left.

The film follows the story of my father, a 30-year-old high school dropout from a dysfunctional family in the Newark projects, who in 1966 was an unemployed, part-time pizza delivery man with a wife and two children. He smoked a joint, put on Man of La Mancha's "Impossible Dream," looked in the mirror, and resolved to become a brain surgeon.

A 40-year odyssey had begun to transform a pizza deliveryman into a medical professional, serving as a testament to the power of resilience and the human spirit's capacity for growth. See the media interviews to the left about the film.

The doors open at 6:00 pm, and tickets are $35, which includes hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. I hope you can join me for a fun night out!
